Meet Our CEO
Sheree Rome, MSW.
Sheree Rome is the Executive Director and Founder of Moving Purpose, LLC. Sheree is known as the "dancing social worker." Sheree is young professional who has over 12 years of experience working in social service and working with at risk youth. Although Sheree prides herself in the field of social service, she also dedicates time to her number one passion; which is her love for dance. In addition to working in the social service field, Sheree is also a dancer, choreographer and creative director. Sheree’s dance experience is comprised of Hip Hop and Stiletto heels dance.
The sole foundation of Moving Purpose was built from the roots of Sheree's education, social work experience, dance background and her love for fashion. The main goal of Moving Purpose is to create a a safe space for dancers and women to embrace who they are, where they are and to MOVE in Purpose.

Community
Moving Purpose provides a safe environment for youth and adults throughout the community. The goal of each class is to encourage each individual to tell their story, using the art of dance. When you walk into a class, your socioeconomic status, gender, age, body type or dance experience does not matter. Every individual deserves an opportunity to learn new skills, experience a good workout and feel confident in their own skin. Moving Purpose focuses on the importance of enhancing the mind, body and the spirit. In each class we focus on each individual as a whole and we make it our goal to implement this notion throughout our community.
